As a boutique firm we accumulate reviews slowly, and many of our clients (financial services, government supply-chain, sensitive HealthTech) operate under confidentiality requirements that prevent public reviews. For larger engagements, we can provide named client references under NDA during procurement.
This page is structurally complete – the Review schema will populate automatically as genuine reviews accumulate on third-party platforms. We don’t fabricate quotes, we don’t incentivise reviews, and we don’t ask clients to draft reviews on our behalf.
Where Reviews Live

Three Platforms Aggregating Verified Reviews

Click through to read what Penva Security clients have actually said. Each platform verifies reviewers differently – all three are independent of Penva Security.

G

Google Business Profile

The most visible source for Australian buyer due-diligence research. Google reviews appear in search results and Google Maps.
C

Clutch.co

The B2B service review platform used by enterprise procurement teams. Reviews on Clutch are verified through phone or video interview – the strongest verification of any review platform.

LinkedIn Recommendations

Public LinkedIn recommendations from past clients – the format most credible for technical buyers in security and engineering leadership roles.
Trust Policy

A note on fake testimonials

Most pentest firm websites have a “wall of testimonials” with quotes that read suspiciously similar to each other. Often, those quotes are written by the firm’s marketing team and approved by clients – or worse, fabricated entirely.

A note on fake testimonials

Most pentest firm websites have a “wall of testimonials” with quotes that read suspiciously similar to each other. Often, those quotes are written by the firm’s marketing team and approved by clients – or worse, fabricated entirely.
We don’t do this for three reasons. (1) Google’s spam classifiers detect fake review schema and apply site-level penalties that hurt every page on the site. (2) Procurement teams have got significantly better at detecting fabricated testimonials – the credibility hit when they’re spotted is severe. (3) It’s just dishonest, and dishonesty in early trust signals tends to predict dishonesty later in the engagement.
This page will populate with genuine reviews as they accumulate on third-party platforms. Until then, we’d rather show you where to find real reviews than fill the page with quotes we wrote ourselves.
What Clients Tell Us

Common Feedback Themes

Four themes that recur in client conversations – written as structural feedback summaries, not as fabricated quotes attributed to invented names.

Theme 01

Reporting Quality

Clients consistently note that Penva Security reports go beyond findings to include remediation guidance, audit-aligned attestation language, and CWE / OWASP / MITRE ATT&CK mapping . Reports are written for both developers (clear reproduction steps) and auditors (compliance framework citations) – a balance most pentest reports miss.
Theme 02

Engagement Operations

Fixed-price quotes within 24 hours, active testing within 5 business days, free 60-day retest as standard. Clients describe the operational predictability as the main reason for repeat engagements – they can plan engagement timing around real Penva Security availability rather than ‘we’ll see when we can fit you in.’
Theme 03

Compliance Outcomes

Clients confirm that Penva Security reports satisfied their target audit – SOC 2 Type II, ISO 27001 surveillance audit, APRA tripartite review, PCI DSS QSA verification . The reporting structure is built for those specific audit pathways, not generic ‘here are findings’ format.
Theme 04

Tester Continuity

Same tester team across multi-year engagements is consistently cited as a differentiator versus enterprise pentest firms. Tester continuity means context retention across engagements – testers know the application’s history, the prior findings, and the remediation patterns that worked or didn’t.
How Reviews Get Collected

The Review-Collection Process

Four steps. No incentives, no draft language, no platform pressure.

01

Engagement Completes

After your engagement closes (post-retest), our project lead asks if you’d be open to sharing feedback publicly.
02

You Choose the Platform

Google, Clutch, or LinkedIn – whichever works for your procurement team’s research preferences. We don’t push toward any specific platform.
03

You Write the Review

We don’t draft language for you or suggest what to include. The review reflects your actual experience, in your words, on the platform you choose.
04

Schema Updates Automatically

When verified reviews appear on third-party platforms, the AggregateRating schema on this page updates with the genuine data – no manual review fabrication, ever.
FAQ

Reviews & Testimonials — Common Questions

Direct answers to the questions buyers ask about how reviews are collected and where they live. Updated May 2026.

Why are there no review quotes on this page yet?
Three reasons. First, Penva Security is a boutique firm that takes a small number of engagements per year – it takes time to accumulate the volume of public reviews that would justify a quote wall. Second, many of our clients (Australian financial services, healthcare, government supply-chain) operate under confidentiality requirements that prevent them from publishing reviews. Third, we don’t fabricate testimonials or use placeholder fake quotes – the page is structurally complete and ready to populate as real reviews come in. Check the Google, Clutch, and LinkedIn links on this page for current verified reviews.
Where can I find real Penva Security reviews right now?
Three places: (1) Our Google Business Profile – search ‘Penva Security Melbourne’ or use the link on this page. (2) Our Clutch profile – Clutch verifies every review through phone or video interview, making it the highest-credibility B2B review source for Australian buyers. (3) Public LinkedIn recommendations from past clients on our LinkedIn company page. We can also provide named client references under NDA during procurement – common for larger engagements where reference checks are part of the buying process.
Why aren't your clients writing reviews?
Many do – on the platforms linked from this page. The ones who don’t usually fall into one of three categories: (1) financial services clients restricted by their compliance teams from public commentary on suppliers, (2) government supply-chain clients with similar restrictions, (3) sensitive HealthTech engagements where any public mention of security testing creates risk. For these clients, named NDA references during procurement is the path, not public reviews.
Are the reviews on Clutch genuine?
Yes – Clutch requires every review be verified through a phone or video interview with the reviewer before publishing. This is the strongest verification of any major B2B review platform. Reviewers must use their corporate email, hold a senior position at the reviewing company, and confirm the engagement details on the call. Clutch reviews aren’t always longer than Google reviews, but they’re more credible because of the verification process.
Can I leave a review even if I'm not a current client?
Honest answer: please don’t. Review platforms (Google in particular) detect and remove reviews from reviewers who don’t have a verifiable engagement relationship – and the reviewer can face account-level consequences. If you’ve worked with Penva Security and want to leave a review, please do so on Google, Clutch, or LinkedIn. If you haven’t worked with Penva Security, the most useful thing to do is start a scoping conversation rather than leave a review.
Does Penva Security incentivise reviews?
No – and intentionally so. Incentivised reviews are detectable by review platforms and reviewers, and they degrade the credibility of the platform for future readers. We don’t offer discounts, gifts, contest entries, or any other incentive in exchange for reviews. Reviews appear when clients genuinely choose to share their experience. The trade-off is fewer reviews overall, but the ones that exist mean what they say.
What if I had a bad experience with Penva Security?
Please tell us directly – email [email protected] or speak to our managing director. We take engagement-quality issues seriously and would always prefer to address them directly than learn about them through a public review. That said, we won’t ask you to remove a public negative review either – your honest experience is yours to share. Review platforms work because they reflect genuine experiences, including the difficult ones.
How do you handle reviews that violate client confidentiality?
Reviews on third-party platforms are written by clients, not by Penva Security, and clients are responsible for their own confidentiality obligations. We don’t ask clients to disclose details that would breach their NDA with their own customers, and we don’t republish reviews that contain such details. If you’re writing a review and unsure about what’s safe to share, focus on the experience of working with Penva Security (process, communication, report quality, outcomes) rather than specifics of your own internal systems or data.
